We’ll talk about things like: • Why you don’t always need all the rows in your fact table • How to reduce data size using aggregation (summarization) • Why too many tables (especially 1:1 relationships) slow down your model • The problem with multiple fact tables instead of one clean table • How to decide which columns to keep vs remove • And most importantly, how to plan your data model before building anything I’ve been working with Power BI for a long time, and one thing I can tell you is this - a clean model makes everything else easier… DAX, visuals, performance, everything.
