You're With Me was written on June 20, 2014. Being in love is one thing which is huge, being aware that this is the real deal is another. It talks about how lucky I felt to love a special woman and the song rocked out my feelings. The riff was around for several years and eventually morphed into this. The combination of the chord progression and the bass was always my favorite. The beginning is somewhat reminiscent of a riff from Black Day In July, of all songs!
