[Zero OST] The Fracture
Deep below, where the sunlight dies, Beneath the roots of a thousand lies, We dug through stone and dust and bone, Seeking thrones we’d never own. Gold in our hearts, deceit in our veins, Our hands still tremble, but none refrains. The ruin sang in a language of ash, And the ground began to shake and crash. Echoes whispered in halls of dread, Of power sleeping, long thought dead. Symbols burned with crimson glow, Marking the path we shouldn’t know. We tore through walls with rusted steel, Hungering for what gods conceal. The pulse awoke it struck like flame, And none who stood would leave the same. They said it was nothing, a dream, a lie, A flicker of madness, the wind passing by. But the air turned thick with scent of decay, And stars above began to sway. The oceans stirred with a hollow sound, The sky cracked open, the earth unbound. And in the silence before the scream, The world forgot what life could mean. Fracture the world divides, Truth revealed where the darkness hides. We held the key, we forged the chain, Now the void runs wild again. Our greed became the god we fed, Now it feasts on the lives we bled. Fracture this is our design, The curse reborn through humankind. One month gone the sky went pale, And voices rose in shattered wail. Cities fell beneath their own, As towers cracked and wires moaned. Eyes of red stalked every flame, No one lived to curse a name. Children cried in frozen rain, The earth itself began to wane. Smoke in the lungs, steel in the skin, We built our tombs and called them sin. Three great wounds that sleep and hum, Waiting for what they’ll soon become. The cold wind whispers through the graves, Counting the souls it couldn’t save. No gods left now, no one to pray, Only the pulse it won’t decay. Fracture the world divides, Truth revealed where the darkness hides. We held the key, we forged the chain, Now the void runs wild again. Our greed became the god we fed, Now it feasts on the lives we bled. Fracture this is our design, The curse reborn through humankind. The cold starts creeping in, slow and sly, Whispering softly, “you can’t deny.” The fires fade beneath the frost, And only few will count the cost. The air grows still, the echoes fade, The price of power fully paid. The sun bleeds out the world turns white, And Frostfall waits to claim the night.
