A short horror/comedy shot on location at Sir Francis Drake High School, by members of the 2008 Communications Academy. The project was a groundbreaking hybrid of screen and stage and gore, mixing laughs and screams and a handful of zombies into the mix of your average day at high school. Produced as a "high school thesis film," ZHS was created by the then 17 year-old Matthew K. Firpo, now a graduate of NYU 's Tisch Film School. Based in New York City, he is a professional commercial and feature film director, and is currently developing a feature adaption of Zombie High School for the big screen.
