Lock began designing his own Zone 3 wetsuits, mainly to give him an edge over his competitors while selling enough of them at local competitions to cover his overseas racing costs. The first collection of Zone 3 wetsuits were officially launched in 2009. Since then, the range has continued to grow and now caters for all aspects of a triathlete's wardrobe.
