There were questions about the lead forming tool that I used in the Sansui AU-717 video. I received several comments, some confirming that they too had issues when using this tool. It provides good results, one you remember how to use it!

Sometimes something "task made" for certain jobs, like, electronics work, will just get a markup where a similar but capable tool is available. I purchased a "concave and round nose" 5" jewelry plier from amazon a year ago, that is easy to use, will make different sized bends depending on where you position the wire on the pliers, and seems perfect for the job, and were also less than $7 USD.
