Structural steel demolition requires precise planning, controlled cutting, and coordination with the crew to make sure the building remains stable while we prepare the structure for the next phase of framing and steel erection. Once the demolition is complete, the focus shifts to installing a massive amount of structural steel columns that will support the new addition of the home. These steel columns are critical load-bearing elements that transfer the weight of the new structure down to the foundation. The team begins setting steel columns, base plates, anchor bolts, and structural supports, aligning everything perfectly before the next phase of beam installation begins.
