2 PIVOT 1/4 TURN

This short video is a teach of the Linedance move - The PIVOT TURN Also, see below for the complete list of 30 teaches of basic linedance steps and then just click on any choice to view the teach. A Pivot Turn can be danced turning Left or Right & can be a 1/4 turn or 1/2 turn. This video demonstrates a Pivot 1/4 turn Left. The Pivot 1/2 Turn move is similar to the Pivot 1/4 turn except that a half turn is made. THIS VIDEO USES A STUDENT CENTRED APPROACH:- and is intentionally a short teach - approx 1 minute. The teach is followed by a QUICK REPEAT to aid understanding. The student can simply repeat the video, for personal use, as often as required and can be used by an absolute beginner and/or by a dancer revising steps learnt in class. A long teach is NOT provided as the short approach allows the student to decide the time spent on learning the move - (which is student centred).
