We hoped this mini movie showed what life felt like about ten years ago, during the height of the killer clown craze. Back then, the whole trend was everywhere! People were freaked out, laughing, confused, and honestly wondering why clowns suddenly decided to terrorize neighborhoods for fun. We wanted to bring that strange moment in time back to life, but with a twist. Instead of focusing only on the fear, we leaned into the ridiculousness of it all. The clowns were creepy, sure, but they were also kind of goofy and over-the-top, which made the whole craze feel unreal.
Our goal was to recreate that same mix of tension and humor: the feeling of being scared while also knowing how silly the situation really was. By blending suspense with comedy, we wanted to remind people of how bizarre that era was and show how something terrifying can also be completely absurd in hindsight.
