These rolls were made for our grandchildren's visit - they were a big hit!
Here's the recipe:
HOLIDAY CINNAMON ROLLS
1 cup scalded milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup warm water (105-115 degrees) no chlorine in water is best
2 packs dry yeast (2 heaping teaspoons)
2 large eggs
5 1/4 cups bread flour
Filling:
3 tablespoons cinnamon
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup cold butter, chopped
1/2 cup bread flour
crumb together
Icing:
2 cups confectionary sugar
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
dash of salt
Add more sugar if necessary for the right consistency
