So today we have 3 shoulder strength exercises for you to try. Sometimes we see shoulder strength neglected purely through lack of knowledge - i.e you aren't aware of how to train it, or even that it was important. Whilst other times, it is pain that gets in the way. Maybe an old rotator cuff injury, osteoarthritis, bursitis or a frozen shoulder. So what often ends up happening is your shoulders not only lose strength but also get stiffer. As they get weaker and stiffer, your shoulders' capacity to handle everyday tasks decline. Tasks such as - hanging out the washing, combing your hair, reaching for high cupboards, lifting your grandchild into the air. Now - as you have probably heard us say many times before - you don't get better at something by avoiding it... So if you want to get stronger and more confident with those tasks then you need to do resistance exercises covering similar movements. Or if pain is your issue, then you must build your shoulder's resilience to load by gradually exposing it to the movement you are having trouble with. Ok - So where is a good place to start? Well - Go and check out these 3 shoulder strength exercises Jack and Ollie run through how to do the exercises and what modifications you can make if needed. Happy strengthening!
