This tutorial demonstrates how to utilize defeaturing and midsurfacing capabilities to extract a midsurface from a solid. Next, a surface mesh is generated for that midsurface and the property definition is automatically created via thickness mapping from the original solid. Finally, the mapped thicknesses are reviewed.
