Then why work so hard? To be honest, I just love law school so much! The engaging lecture classes, the insightful and well-written casebooks... That's nice. Holy shit, she is the worst. Oh my god, this girl should be relegated To a very special place in hell Always comes to class on time And she makes her own outlines I didn't even do that for most of 2L Mad Men? Homeland? In my Netflix queue! You drunk? I'm high. Since yesterday! My Conlaw class? Taking it pass-fail! What else could I want from my 3L year? So! 3L! Isn't it the greatest? I finally have time to read a law review cover to cover! Why would you want— The best arguments are always in the footnotes! So wait, you're telling me— It's just all so fascinating! —that you're actually interested in legal theory? It's my favorite thing! Creative arguments, learned scholars, innovative approaches to age-old problems! And you actually enjoy studying law? Uh huh! That's weird. Why else would anyone attend law school? Who in their right mind could find law school pleasant? She must be mentally unwell And why would she ever choose Not to drown herself in booze After all, is that not the point of 3L? This is so thought-provoking A new method for strict scrutiny A thesis so groundbreaking I can't wait to see what its impact is, practically Wow, this chick is so fucking aggravating She's worse than a gunner 1L She thinks law school is a place For intellectual debates I don't know where she got that idea No clue where she got that idea Beats us why she thinks that as a 3L Well yes, it's true, 3L is useless But we'd like to keep it that way It's our reward for the last two years Well, I happen to think that should be changed Why would you want more work? Are you deranged? Why must some people be so goddamn Type A It's not like this is a hard sell Long as you don't pass away You will graduate in May That's really all you need to do It may be fucked up but it's true That's all people expect from you 3L!
