4 Floor Elevator System Control | PLC Programming Tutorial

In this video, we will design and implement a PLC program to control a 4 floor elevator system. The elevator car moves between four points of interest, powered by a DC motor with a gearbox for smooth operation. How the Elevator Control Works: When the PLC program starts, the system checks the current position of the elevator car. If the car is not already on the first floor, it automatically moves down until it reaches the first floor. Once at the first floor, the motor stops, and a numeric display shows the digit "1", indicating the car's position. The elevator remains idle on the first floor until a service call button is pressed, signaling a request to move to another floor. This PLC-based elevator system ensures automatic initialization and efficient movement between floors.
