The tram network in Sofia is one of the only in Europe to use 2 different track gauges on one system. Narrow gauge is used on most lines except 20, 21, 22, and 23 which use standard gauge. The system's rolling stock is also largely second hand with old trams from Basel and Prague running on various lines. The fare system is integrated with the rest of the city’s transit system as is commonly seen in Europe and a ride costs 2 BGN (which is around 1€). The trams run through downtown and connect to useful destinations like the city’s central railway station. Being so cheap and relatively efficient I recommend using them if you find yourself in the Bulgarian capital. Enjoy the video :)
