In this segment, I get sidetracked from the 40X and start work on a couple of more pressing items. One will be my own Wichita Mini while the other is a heavy 6.5x47 sent to me by a subscriber. Built on a long 700 action, it does not shoot well, and I'll be trying to find out why. The rifle is about 17 pounds and one would expect it to shoot reasonably well. We'll see what I can find and if I can fix it.
