A Broadband Interoperability Platform for First Responders

First responders need to access seamless communication across multiple Long-Term Evolution (LTE) networks using Push-to-Talk (PTT) device, enabling uninterrupted back and forth communication between them. To meet this critical need, Catalyst Communications Technologies provides interoperable solutions that connect broadband PTT services from various vendors and service providers, ensuring reliable and efficient communication in emergency situations. The DHS SBIR Virtual First Responders Showcase highlighted 10 innovative technologies designed to keep our nation’s frontline workers, emergency managers, and incident commanders prepared respond to disasters. DHS SBIR collaborated with professionals across all federal law disciplines including law enforcement, fire services, emergency medical services, and emergency management as well as with small business innovators and industry leaders, to develop cutting-edge technologies that address the most critical challenges in emergency response.
