This Automaton made from May to July 2025 in the House of Magic workshop depicts a fire in Vatican City. Strange dreamlike figures are to be found emerging from the smouldering hard wood or stone floor and a flying nun appears in the dome of The Vatican. This piece is about the incredible riches of the church and was started 3 days before the pope passed away. I unlisted this video as I do not wish to offend worshippers of the church, however it perhaps should be said that it is a comment on the extraordinary riches of the catholic church which seems to me in conflict with the state of extreme poverty in the world.
