A Message to My Biggest Critic

I got a comment on one of my guitar videos recently telling me my playing was off tune, my bends weren't hitting, and asking how I couldn't hear it. So I did what a lot of us do, I panicked. I deleted the post. Off Facebook. Off Instagram. I was about to wipe it from YouTube too. Then I saw another comment. From someone who genuinely loved it. Same video. Two completely different reactions. Here's the thing I had to sit with — I don't do 25 takes to get it perfect. I play these songs live, in the moment, one or two takes max. That's real. That's honest. And yes, sometimes I'm slightly off. But that's also just... music. The real story?
