I find the abdominals are seldom treated but so much can be achieved in doing so properly!
The transverse abdominis (TvA), rectus abdominis and both internal and external obliques make up the abdominals - that's 4 very strong muscles that are subject to pain and dysfunction just like all the other muscles in the human body.
Of course, abdominal massage comes with its risks but it can be done safely - on that note, if there are any red, or even yellow, flags then I advise not to carry out the treatment and to seek consent from an appropriately qualified practitioner.
