little demo i've been sitting on for a while. originally, it was going to be a bonus track for the Sharktüth EP A breed of pufferfish has evolved to contain a toxin within its body that, when consumed by humans in most situations, will cause death. However, an incredibly small dose is proven to produce psychoactive effects that induce feelings of euphoria, excitement, and a propensity for violence, followed by a tranquil, calming effect that facilitates a hyper-focused, zen-like mental state. Warriors of the █████ islands traditionally have consumed this poison prior to battle in order to fight more ferociously and without fear. Stored in the liver, this poison is extracted in liquid form and dosed via the medium of hibiscus flowers that have been dried out in the sun. A single drop will suffice. Any more than that and the risk of death is highly likely. The creature the poison comes from has been named “acidfish”.
