This is a relatively new feature in Photoshop, and it's also one of the misused of all tools and functions of Photoshop. When done correctly, it's really cool. But when done incorrectly, you're labeled as an amateur. Don't be that guy.
Right-click 'Download' and select 'Save Link As' if the file opens in a new tab.
