This is an excellent drop for the beginner/intermediate student. It does not require being able to invert in the air, and it can be practiced multiple times in a row. You can walk this drop down by piking (folding your body in half, face towards feet) and letting go once you are piked. Then you can continue the roll to sit back up to the starting position slowly and with control.
The Rebekah Split sequence is a must-know for aerialists of all levels and this wrap utilizes the initial wrap of that sequence.
