ALTEVAL Tutorial – Part 04 – Minkowski Distance

Part 4 of a 5-part tutorial on ALTEVAL covering the Minkowski Distance (MD) method. ALTEVAL is a user-friendly computer program developed for Multi Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) to explicitly evaluate alternatives. The program includes the K Nearest Neighborhood (KNN) Machine Learning algorithm which is designed to make an “educated guess” towards classifying an unclassified record. ALTEVAL includes different methods for conducting alternative evaluation and can be applied to many different fields.
