an interview with foreign forest

Foreign Forest’s experience is apparent, translated through his calm demeanor and concise speech. All of his answers were delivered with an educated rhythm as mellow as his music, slow moving emo tracks full of warm layers and halloween imagery. Something I appreciate a lot about Foreign’s answers is how honest he was, his desire to have this return to authenticity and acknowledging some sort of part to play in underwhelming releases was refreshing in a way. When you’ve been doing it as long as he has you learn to recognize these things, and I’m glad he shared some unique insight and anecdotes with us for the interview.
