Apparatus Checklists

Summary: Introduction to truck checks in the latest version of Station Smarts, accessible from the main menu by selecting the desired apparatus. Checklists include two tabs: one for the apparatus itself and one for the equipment on the apparatus, with customizable question types and requirements for comments. Both apparatus and equipment tabs allow for the inclusion of photos and comments, facilitating detailed inspections. Additional tabs in the checklist view provide comprehensive information, including pictures of storage areas (e.g., cabinets or cubbies) and personnel involved in the check. The equipment tab lists all equipment assigned to the apparatus, including items out for service, and enables access to important notes and instructions specific to each checklist. Key information or instructions (e.g., not needing to create a repair request for certain items) can be communicated through notes in the apparatus module, visible in every checklist. Completing a checklist can automatically trigger repair requests for both the apparatus and equipment without leaving the checklist interface.
