ArchEngBuild 2026

The Challenge ArchEngBuild brings together New Zealand’s future industry leaders. Forty of the best students in architecture, engineering, and construction management take part in an intense 72-hour sprint challenge to win a share of $15,000! This year, we're excited to expand our disciplines by welcoming students from Landscape Architecture and Sustainable Engineering. Be part of this awesome experience and shape the future of our built environment! The aim To collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team of four to produce and deliver a concept design to a topical, real world client brief, that addresses issues faced by industry. As a selected participant, you will use your existing knowledge and draw upon professional advice that will be made available to you through our mentors on Day 2. The why ArchEngBuild nurtures collaboration and innovation at the beginning of the careers of our future construction industry leaders. In your teams, you will receive a brief to respond to, while also demonstrating effective inter-disciplinary collaboration.
