Athena 2000 Threading

Threading a Singer Athena 2000 The Futura II 920, many other Futura models, Athena 1200, and Touchtronic machines use the Futura bobbin winding system. These machines all thread and wind bobbins like this. The Futura (Athena) system has this little cross, it is the replacement for the Touch and Sew system and was later replaced with the Centaur bobbin system. The Singer Centaur bobbins look very similar to the Athena bobbins and a broken Centaur bobbin will fit the Athena case, but will not properly wind.
