Singer Athena Bobbin Loading

Loading wound bobbins in the Singer Athena 2000. This is a self winding bobbin case and, unlike the earlier Auto-Reel or Touch & Sew case, has a tensioner on it that requires you to pull the thread around. The easiest way to make sure you have bobbin tension is to wind the bobbin in the machine, but if you have removed it for cleaning or are switching threads back and forth you need to remember to pull the tail into the tensioner like most other top load bobbin cases. The Futura and Centaur bobbin systems both used the same style of case and you need to pull the thread into the tensioner on both of these systems.
