April 24-26, 2026 A sun-shadow optical illusion confounds my logic on our morning driveway walk. The frogs are sun-basking at the impoundment and south pool. After a year of no access around Otter Pond's berm I tackle the overgrowth and a dead blockade tree. Life on the bog is about living life in the slow lane, observing and recording the artistry and serenity of the natural world. Insley and I live together on forty-acres of forest and bog, sharing frequent moments of unexpected wonder.
