So to my surprise, I got my second comission back-to-back, this time with the goal of creating a prototype man-portable cannon based on the Pak 40. Translating to something between "Execution" or "Version 88" from German, there were a lot of little details I was asked to draw from, so this ended up being quite a Dieselpunk take on an already pretty nifty breech-loaded rifle. Not much to say on this one otherwise. The goal was to make somethng big, heavy and clunky, and the process went pretty smoothly. Although this year I really need to revise where I get my sound effects from. Made in Blender 4.0 and rendered at 60 FPS in Cycles with 250 samples and a noise threshold of 0.1. And that's that. That'll be the end of unexpected comms for a while (which I am grateful to have done), as there's two more animations I'm dying to do before February. The next one shouldn't be too far away, but until then, have a good one!
