Autonomic Dysfunction - Testing and Medical Management

Lecturer: Melissa Budahazy, APN-BC https://app2app.org/ https://www.mindingafter.com/ Melissa is a Neurology NP with clinical experience in managing autonomic failure and neurodegenerative conditions. In this lecture, Melissa will present the pathophysiology, presenting signs and symptoms, exam findings, and work-up in autonomic failure. She will also provide an overview of pharmacotherapeutics and life style changes that she has found beneficial for her patients, many of which primary care is well-positioned to carry out. Melissa is our first recipient of the APP2APP “Triple A award”, which stands for Amazingly Accomplished APP award. APP2APP would like to recognize Melissa for recently launching a new LLC called Minding After https://www.mindingafter.com/ The mission of Minding After is to create a community of dementia caregivers to allow them to easily access expert information on dementia.
