In this video I will describe the method I used to make track cleaners for my home made Band Saw sawmill. Track cleaners are essential for the smooth feeding of the saw carriage. I owned and operated a #1 lane saw mill for many years, see my video "sawing on a lane sawmill". I designed and made track cleaners for the lane mill and it worked great to keep the tracks free from sawdust buildup. I sold that mill and am in the process of building a band saw using the knowledge from that experience to make a band saw mill.
