A local pharmaceutical company approached the Custom Fabrication team with a challenge to mechanically dump fiber drums containing powder or tablets into existing hoppers. Our team took on the challenge and designed a hydraulic arm to lift and rotate the barrels dumping the product through a stainless steel lid that clamps onto the barrels. A prototype was fabricated and tested by the client prior to the final piece.
