Mushroom applique pattern
What you'll need:
Size F/3.75mm hook
Worsted weight cotton yarn in white and red (or desired colors)
Darning needle
Scissors
1. With size F hook and white yarn chain (ch) 3 and join with a slip stitch (sl st).
2. Ch 6.
3. Single crochet (sc) into second ch from hook, 2 half double crochet (hdc) into the next 2 sts, sl st into each of the last 2 chs, join to the first ch space (ch sp) with a sl st, cut yarn leaving a long tail to embroider dots at the end.
4. Turn your work, join the second color of yarn with a sl st ch 1, then sc 6 sts into the ch sp, ch 1.
5. Turn your work, 2 double crochet (dc) into each sc, then sl st back to the ch sp along the side of the last dc and first sc, ending with a sl st into the ch sp.
6. Weave in ends, then using the long white tail embroider white dots on the cap of the mushroom.
7. Enjoy!
