Row 1: Ch 1, 10 sc into the ring. Join with sl st to first sc. (10) Row 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around. Join with sl st to first sc. (20) Row 3: Ch 1, *sc in next st, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. (30) Row 4: Ch 1, *sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. (40) Row 5-15: Ch 2, hdc in each st around. Join with sl st to top of ch 2. (40) Row 16: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in each st around. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. (40) Row 17-18: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join with sl st to first sc. (40) Row 19: Ch 1, *sc in next 3 sts, ch 2, skip next 2 sts; repeat from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. (24 sc and 8 ch-2 spaces) Row 20: Ch 1, *sc in next 3 sts, 3 sc in next ch-2 space; repeat from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. (48) Row 21: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join with sl st to first sc. (48) Row 22: Switch to second color. Ch 1, *sc in next 4 sts, ch 2, skip next 2 sts; repeat from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. (32 sc and 8 ch-2 spaces) Row 23: Ch 1, *sc in next 4 sts, 3 sc in next ch-2 space; repeat from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. (56) Row 24: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join with sl st to first sc. (56) Fasten off and weave in ends. Drawstring: Using 3 strands of the second color of yarn held together, ch approximately 50 to 60 chains or until the drawstring measures 24 inches.
