Be Sure

Be Sure (Genesis 2:17, Numbers 32:23, 2 Peter 1:19, Hebrews 6:19, 2 Timothy 2:19, Hebrews 6:11, Revelation 22:20, 2 Peter 1:10-11) Of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. Then take note, you have sinned against the Lord; and be sure your sin will find you out. And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil. The Lord knows those who are His, Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end. He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
