This is one of BLR's beetleweight (3lb) Combat robots. It is a shell spinner (full body spinner) and competed at a few events throughout 2018.
In this video, I tear down vortex and talk about its design. This is version Vortex Mk2b. Building a shell spinner has been a fun but challenging experience. I have high hopes for the next iteration of the design, and look out for Vortex in 2019!
