Beginningless Beginning

Inspired by verse 1 of the Shimmering Void Sutra: In the beginningless beginning there was only awareness, shimmering and unborn, dancing as stars, singing as rivers, here and now. This awareness is not a distant historical event or a product of biological evolution; it is the shimmering fabric of the present moment. It is described as unborn because it has no source other than itself—it is the fundamental frequency of all that exists. When you look at a star or listen to the rush of a river, you are not looking at an external object; you are witnessing awareness in one of its infinite, joyful disguises. There is an immense beauty in the realization that the very same light dancing in the furthest galaxy is the one currently reading these words. This is the beginningless beginning, a timeless origin that is eternally happening right here and now. It asks nothing of you but your presence, inviting you to recognize yourself as the very song the universe is singing.
