MUSIC INSIGHTS: This original song was written in a country folk style with the addition of string orchestration for emotional accents. It follows genre-typical harmonic patterns. The vocal melody is soft at times and soars into a powerful chorus to emphasize the importance of the title – Between the Moments. The tempo and accompaniment are typical for this genre of ballad. This is a tender song sung over a flowing musical accompaniment. It is heartfelt, like the story it tells. The song structure is a verse/chorus with a bridge. VIDEO INSIGHTS: The lyrics of this song obviously tell the story of a couple deeply devoted to one another. I created the photo realistic scene using an AI platform. When they were assembled, I found that the AI platform had created some interesting scene transitions and camera viewpoints that would be next to impossible to achieve with live actors. I decided to leave those transitions and other interesting artifacts in the final working print as they are not only interesting but also support the emotional connection between the main characters.
