In this video I demonstrate how to create a rig for a character's eyes in Blender 2.6. Adding simple UV Spheres for eyes (with black and white materials), I add bones to the existing character rig for each eye, a target bone for each eye, and a 'master' 'lookAt' bone which can can be animated to make the character look around. We constrain each eye bone to follow the movement of the 'lookat' target using IK.
