BLENDER: PRINTER (MODELING)

This is the first of two or three videos in which we get to modeling the PRINTER. I am using an image by Pawel Dudek: Pawel Dudek ArtStation: https://www.artstation.com/motodi Reference Image: https://cdnb.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/000/559/583/large/pawel-dudek-dl-printer.jpg?1426760064 A couple of points I would like to make about modeling in general and this model in particular. It is good practice to make a copy of an object you are going to destructively work on. So in this case, when I make the knife cuts to create the indents or grooves, it would be a good idea to copy the base object and practice on it. And with respect to those indents/grooves, you may want to make them a bit thinner than I did here so all of the pieces of the top and bottom appear to fit together a little tighter. Alright, we are off to a pretty good start.
