Blue Knob, Time Raveller

"Blue Knob, Time Raveller": In 2020, I started going to state parks around the time of my birthday to make a movie in honor of my having made it through another year. In 2025, I went to Blue Knob State Park. I took various objects with me: a large container of sheets, some selected clothing, a few books, a microfiche reader, a short-wave radio, a tape of numbers station broadcasts, a device for hand playing those tapes, a battery-powered portable amplifier, etc. I had some vague ideas about shooting scenes in such a way that I'd be translucent in them. I thought of a "Time Raveller" as a person who ravels, rather than unravels, the 'threads of time', combining them into a mix of different periods. My translucency provided the "ghosting" & my mysterious activities around sites of tragedy provided the 'spying'. Animations & other trickery was intended to add visual spice. The whole shebang was improvised, using the local tourist attractions in a mostly rural / small town area. September 4th, 2025, was my 72nd birthday. Since I have very few friends & those few I have are usually too busy for such nonsense this was made alone.
