Boulder Crack Oven
Wherein two attempts are made at building a fire in the crack of a huge boulder. This was an experiment that called to me, the universe forced me to do it, but I don't know why, as it didn't have great results. Mostly it made a lot of smoke. I think if I really spent a day getting it going, building up lots of embers, slowly adding lots of small scraps of wood, maybe even coal, then something cool could have happened. But otherwise I'll tag this as a learning experience. Leave a comment if you can think of a way to improve the results, or use what I accomplished for something useful. For example smoking meat.
