Break 4 Love
Break 4 Love Riff. Narrated by Brian from Soulful Fitness Roller Skate Training. Footage shot on June 1st, 2020, on the verge of relaxing the lockdown restrictions in The Netherlands, due to the Covid-19 situation (since March 15, 2020.) This riff is assembled from various old and fresh free flow sessions. 8 counts in total, with a traveling turn in the first 4 counts, followed up with a free flow section of 4 counts, to be filled up free in any which way possible. Soulful Fitness Roller Skate Training definiton of Free Flow: ~ Being able to move freely without any restrictions or pre-calculated fixed patterns, totally relying on overall skill, up to that magical point where free flow (flow motion) equals flying or floating. ~ In the development of balance, Soulful Fitness recognizes four stages: 1. Challenge 2. Control 3. Improve 4. Improvise. Free flow is characterized in the 4th stage (improvise) : `Flawless transitions between movements in a dynamic constancy of rhythm, resulting in a playful moving mantra or dance.` For those who recognize the title, yes you are right. It is indeed the title of the 1988 House track Break 4 Love, written, produced and recorded by Vaughn Mason. His name is forever attached to one of the most recognized roller skate anthems of all times, `Bounce, Rock, Skate, Roll` (1979). Vaughan Mason sadly passed away on April 3, 2020. This is our little tribute. May his funky soul be forever blessed and rest in eternal power. Soulful Fitness - Roller Skate Training developed by Brian Bfunkphenomenon.
