Breaking Down SOR- Part 2, The Text

Welcome to Part 2 of my Science of Reading Breakdown! Okay, teachers... who is guilty of assigning students a text to read that you haven't read yourself? I know I am guilty! Since learning more about the Science of Reading, I now know just how important it is for teachers to pre-read any assigned text. In this video, I am going over several critical components that provide help you understand just how vital it is that you read a text BEFORE assigning it to your students.
