#BurstMode #Microprocessor #Microcontroller Hello guys, In this Lecture I will explain Burst Mode with examples. Burst Mode in microprocessors and microcontrollers refers to a high-speed data transfer method where multiple data words are read from or written to memory in quick succession without reinitiating the bus cycle for each word. It is used to improve performance by reducing overhead during data transfer. Key Features: ► Efficiency: Reduces the time spent on addressing and control signals by handling multiple data transfers in one cycle. ► High-Speed Access: Often used in applications requiring rapid data processing, such as graphics rendering or signal processing. ► Memory Interaction: Commonly implemented in systems with cache memory or high-speed DRAM, where sequential data access is frequent. Applications: ► Used in DMA (Direct Memory Access) operations. ► Enhances performance in real-time systems and embedded applications. ► Found in communication protocols requiring burst data transmission.
