Cable Extusion Line
Cable Extusion (Insulation and Sheathing) Line Two Main Stages of the Line 1. Insulation Extrusion Function: To apply the primary dielectric (non-conductive) layer directly onto a bare copper or aluminum conductor. Purpose: Electrical isolation, preventing current leakage or short circuits. Location: Typically the first extrusion head in the line. 2. Sheathing (Jacketing) Extrusion Function: To apply an outer protective layer over an already insulated conductor or a bundle of conductors (core). Purpose: Mechanical protection (abrasion, crush, impact), environmental protection (moisture, chemicals, sunlight, heat), and sometimes providing special properties like flame retardancy or low smoke emission. Location: Can be a second extrusion head on the same line (tandem setup) or a separate downstream line. More information required, please visit: www.hengtaiwx.com/en
