I came up with this video because he is always doing what is good for the human race. Even if it means dying or watching someone you love die. The song talks about letting people down and I think that is the number one thing that Jack feels bad about. Is not being able to take the blow for the people who he has lost. He let his parents down, his brother down, he let Owen, Tosh and Ianto down, they died because he initiated them into Torchwood. He let his daughter down and he was responsible for his grandson's death having been the one to give the order. And he has put not only Gwen but Ryes and their daughter in danger. Jack acts like he may not care but I think the problem is he cares so much that he has to hide it, mask it and not let it get to him, he has an eternity in front of him if he lets himself feel every emotion about everyone he wasn't able to save he would go mad. And emo unhappy Jack wouldn't be Jack at all. I think the most shocking part in the story of Captain Jack Harkness is the fact he was called the Face of Boe and I used that because in this video because if you really think back to it, it fits, the Face of Boe gave his last breath to save the human race. And if that isn't a completely Jack move than I don't know what is. ░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ I am happy with this video. And I hope all of you are too.
