Carmenta technology supporting UAS

In this video, Carmenta demonstrates how its advanced geospatial tools can be used for planning and visualizing unmanned aerial vehicle missions. Carmenta presents how to make your UAS mission safer already in the planning phase. Using a vertical clearance calculation along the flight path, potential obstacles and hazards can be identified. A vertical profile helps the operator make the right adjustments. In addition, Carmenta presents the calculation of UAV routes that avoid or minimize detection by various known sensors or effectors, as well as safe landing sites along the route for both emergency and planned landings. Carmenta also presents how to make live data captured by a UAV more understandable by providing a spatial context in georeferencing full motion video streams from an UAV in real-time.
